Peak District and Around July 3rd 2011

Mrs B daughter and granddaughter did Race For Life this morning, I was chauffer for the pink ladies.
Picked them up and brought them home for a light lunch and then Julie being tired decides I can keep my chauffeur’s helmet on and go out for a run in the Peaks. Not got long, meeting friends at 4 ish at Tideswell . Plotted a new route of old and new roads. We are off 23 deg C nice. Julies brought my camera and I say practice on the move shots as Im on a mission to do route and arrive in timely fashion.

Burbage , Stannedge

cross the A6103 to Carr Lane, follow to Castleton road into Hope theres a Well Dressing on

turn towards Edale and chase the road

descending to Chapel en le Frith follow Tom Lane towards Whaley Bridge,Macclesfield road , pass Lamaload onto Buxton New road,

Cat and Fiddle

Harpur Hill ,

Brierlow Bar ,

Tractor Pull

Millers Dale

and Tideswell

Vanilla Kitchen Friends having early tea . Just coffee and scone for Mrs B and I . Best coffee in the Peaks plenty strong.

always one isnt there comes past in a rush , Mrs B on the back and wont take it to nxt level but on my own will show the young whipper snapper what a GS can do .

Mr K they are better than they look, however being of epic proportions, i had a top of the range coffee and a small teaspoon of Julies well deserved scone. Dieting for England so i can get in me Force Ten tent for Ripley do. 6ft 1 and nearly as wide. Chips have been sidelined.
