Well what a fantastic day Sunny at Last . Might even fit camera to bike for this road circuit . Daydreaming about daring do when from downstairs I hear this
“Andrew you have remembered you are dropping my bike at Rainbow for a service this morning.”!!!!
Foooobah. Now “wheres me licence and counterpart,your keys and a letter with more id on it to prove its me.”????
Running late now .
Wonder what loan bike I`ll be given, this could be interesting.
Well what a surprise, not sure about the colour but seems stable. With being a big fella theres not a lot of room to move around, the riding position not helping me gel with the bike. Ergonomically it’s a friggin disaster. Davids got an edge now on his gixxer 1000 he`s already more competitive ex racer an all.
First run round exploring the track and the bikes potential . Manage to keep the upperhand for 2 laps of 12 miles but on the 3rd David has explored every opportunity to pass and on the A515 gives it Rock All to get past . Eat my dust I hear as he passes so fast this little bike nearly goes into a spin. I think philosophically (is that a real word) , you learned from me over the years , you have surpassed my ability Time To Move On Grasshopper. However did quicken my pace 10% not easy on a bike this small. We both peeled off on 4th lap for lunch at the Smithy in Monyash. Plenty of old boys on bikes.
