Any personal recommendations for accommodation in/near PEEBLES, I'm stopping over for one night next week........

B*gger, probably too late now but for future reference, the Tontine Hotel, on the High Street is really good. Garage/lock up around the back for the bike, good grub and a nice wee real-ale bar too.

For future reference, try the Jock section. You got no joy when you asked in a Travel. Local knowledge, hard to beat... Or so we are so often told.
