Its a bitch,I got it the same day I downloaded IE8.

It took me 3 hrs to kill it .....found 2 other trojans in the process though

Nobody has the money to be able to create the perfect 'Defender' even now Scrapiron racing have been taken over by someone else, so no, this must mean 'perfect defender', the spoof crapware prog that infects PC's with more shyte than is spoken here in a whole night!!

Google is your ally......lots of free removal tools for all sorts of nasties....never pay for anything, it'll only be bloatware anyway

Was having a tad of a problem with both browser systems being hijacked and all files pertaining to virus being hidden...........

Right .....avg 8.5 missed two trojans,zone alarm missed the leak test at GRC.com...(pc tools firewall AND threatfire caught the leak!!!)....so I junked them they both wouldnt work with spyware doctor on my machine anyhow.......but work ok on the lappy!!!!........


pc tools spyware doctor/firewall/threatfire/antivirus get fired in ............I.m now looking at my resurse monitor with a tear in my eye.........jeeze its processor hungry!

I'll recommend this again:

Very light, uses the 'cloud' rather than resourses on your machine. Download and just let it run, i.e. don't start a scan manually. Give it about 24 hrs, then see if it's got owt.

Spy-bot Search and Destroy, plus Malawarebytes. Run these sequentially about once a week. They can often each pick up on things the other misses.
