Started my grass racing as a youth on ......Bantams
so about time I had another but this time turn one into a usable and fun trail bike.
Found the bike I wanted which is a '68 B175, it's the strongest and most reliable of them all.
Engine's has recently had a full rebuild by the BSA OC so's bound to be anally correct
Heavy weight forks were fitted to some Bantams at the factory, they were I believe off the 250s. These had been rebuilt along with a total refurbishment of the frame all metal work, new high level exhaust, wiring loom, new carb with hard slide etc. etc.
Even has 'Sport' hubs
To get it more usable I'm fitting higher bars, better tyres, change the gearing, probably a single seat I have my eye on I think a tank respray and then we'll see
The Egg Whisk so far
I'll change the back tyre when I do the sprocket...then it'll rip yer fooking arms out
