Started my grass racing as a youth on ......Bantams:eek: so about time I had another but this time turn one into a usable and fun trail bike.

Found the bike I wanted which is a '68 B175, it's the strongest and most reliable of them all.
Engine's has recently had a full rebuild by the BSA OC so's bound to be anally correct:D

Heavy weight forks were fitted to some Bantams at the factory, they were I believe off the 250s. These had been rebuilt along with a total refurbishment of the frame all metal work, new high level exhaust, wiring loom, new carb with hard slide etc. etc.

Even has 'Sport' hubs:ChrisKelly

To get it more usable I'm fitting higher bars, better tyres, change the gearing, probably a single seat I have my eye on I think a tank respray and then we'll see:)

The Egg Whisk so far:D

Nokia text @ 1502hrs ... Thanks for letting me know Giles - I thought he was being a bit shifty the other day when he asked where the cheque book had gone. I shall have a quiet word with him tonight when he gets in. Good to see you again the other week ... xx

Oooo dear ... you're in for the high jump ... :eek

As Andres (but not you:P) will know, Crass were a 70's punk band who promoted anarchism, they were also noted for spreading graffiti around London.

So yes, a touch of Crass graffiti on the wheel rim:cool:.........................................................................................................................which also looks shite and 'obviously' nothing to do with me. (I'll get it off:thumb)

I like that very much; never had Bantams . . .I was a Cub man myself but did have Trials/Scrambler-ised Fanny B.(8E Villiers and the rare 4 speed box.

Pfffft ....

How condescending. I'm well aware of 70's punk that you very much. In fact Dr Hook was one of my favourite artistes just as I was starting boarding school :ChrisKelly

(which Wapping was just leaving as I was starting :D :eek)

Boarding school?

That'll explain the ballet, seems to be a bit of a theme.......:ymca
