perspex headlamp and oil cooler protection

there is a gap between the glass and the cover it would take a fair amount of heat to melt the internals there are a fair few types of stick on lamp protectors that are a darn sight closer
so i dont think its a problem , hasnt bin for me so far...

Oil cooler guard

Slimbo,

If you could do one with "GS" lettering or even better "R1150GS" then I'd be interested. I've already got the Touratech light guard but Id be happy to change it for one of yours with the custom lettering.

ok guys mk 3 or is it 4 coming up soon, watch this space

Hey Slim,

TMule here, your US distributor. Been trying to find out when the new Mk 3 or Mk 4 will be ready.

Let me know when you have the new prototypes we discussed. I'd like to get a new one.

BTW, have had mine on in Texas heat for over 4 months and have yet to lose a light bulb.

Just got back from a 2,300 mile trip to Moab, Utah and Colorado.

Can't say how it would handle a bird strike (don't want to be a tester for that) but it handles bug strikes just fine.

Very impressed with it.

Would love to know when the new one will be available.

Slimbo I,v tried to send you a pm but no luck, Are you still selling the light/oilcooler covers? or do you want us to wait for mark3/4?

I.ve made one fer mine after seeing metal mans at kielder.
There two sepperate items. The oil cooler protector fits almost flush over the cooler. Its made of very fine stainless steel mesh.Havnt fitted the h/light protector yet, just waiting to get hold of the right size stainless bolts. Will be ready for road test on Sat ..will post pictures soonest.
BTW..if anyone interested will perhaps make a template of the h/light protector.
