I gave my 1150 a 24k service yesterday. I took the petrol tank off intending to replace the fuel filter but abandoned it when I realised that I'll need some new hose clips to replace the "one use" only ones that are used. I'd got as far as removing the six nuts holding the panel that has all of the gubbins mounted onto it and I withdrew the panel as far as I could to expose the hoses. I then repositioned the big O ring and screwed it all back into place and refitted the tank. Now I have a permanent petrol warning light
there is plenty of petrol in the tank and I have sprayed WD40 in the electrics connector block on the RH side just incase that was the problem.
I will be getting the necessary replacement clips this week and I will remove the tank again next weekend to fit the new filter.
So what have I fecked up
What do I need to look at when I get at the gubbins again next weekend; over to the collective wisdom
