Over the winter my 75 grey r 90 s is having a spruce up and becoming a "ginger". I was just wondering if it is possible to remove the tank badges without damage. They are in great condition and it would be brill to remove them undamaged prior to sending it to the sprayer.

Read somewhere that dental floss does the trick. Used with a sawing motion behind the badge. I'd Google it first!

They're very thin and easily creased, they're attached with nuclea strength badge tape!
Best bet is to warm it right up with a hairdryer before attempting anything, at least to soften the adhesive up!

Good luck!

Thanks

Thanks for all the advice chaps and I will try it out this weekend . I just had a thought that if the floss breaks I may try a few threads of Kevlar as that is so strong.
