Petrol tank/knee pad glue recommendations please...

As in the title - the rubber knee pads on both sides of the petrol tank (PD tank) are beginning to come away from the tank due to the glue deteriorating.
Does anyone have any specific recommendations as to what you use please ? (The paint on the plastic tank is two pack if that assists)

I have stuck so many things with contact adhesive and they've all succeeded. So that would be my first port of call. Spread it evenly on both sides, let it dry (15 mins) and then press together. It'll be welded on for life .... !

Ordered the tape as recommended by Steve and must say, for cost + post, the job on each side was done in 15 mins ... Clean and easy! (will review it in 10yrs )
