Sad headlines , cut down Well before his time,doing the thing he loved ,a Scottish Football Journeyman.Fond memories of him in Green And White .
 
Very sad indeed. It seems this isn't rare either, quite a few reports of young footballers collapsing on the pitch.:(
 
Yes and by all acounts we was a gentleman too away from the football, it must have been hard for is nephew too who was playing in that game also.

I agree. You always get the "he was a great guy" speeches in these circumstances but somehow in Phil O'Donnell's case, the tributes all seem very genuine.
 
Sad day........family always in your thoughts first.......however must be a big downer for a club doing so well!
