Got an e mail from this mob today sounds good but a does it cost anything,
and is it any good? do they send you loads of ad's?.
Any advice appreciated.

Very easy to register.
Very easy to use.
Huge % of folk on here use it.
1 or 2 emails a month tops.

I use it, and aside from a slightly annoying ad which plays whilst you are actually uploading (ie when on the site) then I don't get anything from them. Good site.

Great site to use

I used it free for a couple of years but now pay £12 a year (I think?) to get bigger storage (I use it a lot!) and no adverts.

I get one email a year telling me my subscription is about to end

They now have unlimited storage for free but there is a 1MB size limit on individual files. I did subscribe before when there was a limit on the number of photos you could store on the site, but the updated free version suits me fine now.

They have an iPhoto plugin which means its a doodle to export from iPhoto so end up having all my photos backed up on Photobucket. Also very easy to post photos in forums or on Facebook as the appropriate links for individual photos or whole albums are easily copied and pasted, or shared.

I use le bucket too - piece of cake to use, and so far...free..

As mentioned, an annoying video does play, but doesn't affect upload.
