Photo help needed please..!

Hi Guys ...

I'm after a wee bit of help.

Has anyone got any photos of food or cooking while on an off-road trip?

I'm in the middle of co-writing a book on overlanding, and the last few pictures I need are of food and meals on the trail... If anyone has got any highish res shots of camp cookery at its best then I'd love to see them!

If any pic is used then of course a full credit to the taker will be given..

Hello Greg

I can send you a few shots from Australia if you want, however it wont be anything amazing like an open fire kangaroo grill or anything.The rules are not to use an open fire just about everywhere out here, so almost all of my cooking has been a simple meal cooked on a coleman unleaded fuel stove ( heavy and bulky, but robust and use same fuel as the bike )

Due to the bulk and weight limit im prisoner to, been mostly living off egg banjoes ( fried egg sandwhich ) and cans of good/stodgy food like irish stew when im off-road.

The heat is that draining out here, that i have limited myself to a egg banjoe in the morning and a meal at night once camped up to cut down the water my body is using during the day ( water for digestion etc )

I'm after any 'authentic' photos of nutrition and hydration whilst on the road/trail... Why not just mail me a few - I'll look at any you have! Please also let me have yr name as you'd like to be credited in the book if any of your pictures are used..

... this is quite what you're after, but I fed 8 people for 3 weeks from the back of this truck on the TiTs trip. This is the first night when all was shiny & clean, Chefchouan I think.
