As you know there is usually a thread or connection with some of the sites in the Photo Rally. This year it seems to be light houses. There are four of them listed.

After a very pleasant evening in Bloomfield House at the Photo Rally 'do' it was deemed to a suitable morning to start collecting photos. So Ravenbyrne, SpearRuler & myself set off to Ardagh to do the clock tower one. Originally I'd hoped to do 4 points on the way home but we'd a very relaxed start to the day & by the time we got going Brian was under a bit of pressure to make an appointment in Dublin so we only managed Ardagh & the horseshoe door in Rathangan before we split up & went home.
First stop Ardagh. As you can see there it's not a popular spot for motorcyclists on a Sunday
It's a beautiful little village though :

Just back from a great days riding with Nailler

Left at 8 this morning and took in Wicklow, Wexford, Carlow/Kilkenny, Laois/Offally and Dublin/Kildare.
Some great roads so already a big thank you to all involved in organising this as its a great excuse to do some serious miles.
Will post up some photos when I get a chance.
