If the Weather had been better I will have done more

Hi,

It was enjoyable in the spirit of the Irish weather and the bike was made for such conditions. I will have to jet wash at the weekend though.

Here are the first batch of pictures

dave ya shoulda waved when you passed me outside custom house

ya couldnt miss me i was stood in teh middle of the road :D

soji yer mad sir :D

I got four done today, I'd meant to do five, but I mean who decided on that bridge in Mayo, come on, it's fupping brilliant :D That was the first one I came to and I ended up spending over an hour splashing through the ford. I completely destroyed myself and then spent the rest of the day riding soaked through, brrr.

I even set the camera up on the tripod in the middle of the stream weighed down by my backpack filled with rocks so it wouldn't wash away, then rode one-handed across the bridge several times trying to fire the remote with the other hand, but to no avail  But between one hand, holes, loose slabs and thinking about falling in with the bike landing on top of me in a few feet of water in I nearly crapped myself  so I soon said feck that.

Great day though :thumb2

Might give this a rattle this year - look good craic. Any recommendations for a cheap n cheerful Sat-nav?

Type each co-ordinate into Google Maps Martin then you can mark your own paper map with the correct point and away you go. Somewhat tedious admittedly, but it would work. :)

Do give it a go though. It's the best excuse you can have to head away for a wee spin on the bike. :thumb2
