Got my last three on Thurs. First was Waterford, then on to Cork and finally Kerry just after it had got dark, overnight in the Latin quarter of Waterville and a windy spin back home on Friday.

The presentation night is on Sat Feb 4th & is again in the Glasson Hotel & Golf Club a little north of Athlone.

Saturday overnight is € 85 euro per person sharing; this includes the extensive presentation dinner. For non residents the meal is €35 a head; those who attended last year will recollect it as being an exquisite location & a stupendous meal.

The number of beds in the Glasson is limited but there is an overflow facility with a neighbouring hotel – rooms in the Glasson itself are on a first come first served basis – don’t stand there staring; go & book today by e mailing [email protected] or phone 090 6485120 – quoting Photo Rally.

If you are interested in pampering yourself a Massage or Treatment may be arranged at the Hotel – go on, go on, go on, you’re worth it – you are advised to book in advance; possibly while booking your room.

For those of you that might be thinking of really exalting yourselves, it is possible to upgrade to one of the larger Deluxe Rooms, for an extra €10 per person per night.

You should really consider the Fri night also; B&B for Fri costs €40; that’s €125 for the 2 nights - including the Saturday night meal.

If anyone is interested in playing Golf on the Fri or the Sat, a special residential Green Fee rate has been agreed – Tee Times must be booked in advance.

The judges will be hard at work over the next few weeks & their deliberations will be revealed on Feb 4th. The Photo Rally list for 2012 will be published immediately after the 2011 awards ceremony.
