Photos in e-mail

I've been getting photos in e-mail (using OE) that are sent as attachments but the attachment box on the right is 'greyed out' so I can't access the save attachments facility. Any clues on how to access this so I can save the pics to 'my photos'?
Any help would be appreciated as I'm lost!!

In OE click "Tools" then "Options" then the "Security" tab and remove tick from second square box down that reads Do not allow attachments etc
