Looks like I was way out on my valuation - Pitmans in Adelaide have a clean and original 96 Classic with 60,000 km on the clock and $11,000 - on the sticker, a couple of grand less than a new Tenere in Oz.

Looks like the bike I saw is sold already, go to the post - I just got this - for a view.

Makes the $4500- I paid six months ago for my 1000cc twin plugged, W.P shocked G/S with 75000 km on the clock seem a real bargain.

If we ignore the fact that it is third time round, that is.
