Guys
Picked it up yesterday ......wicked!!!
Went for a spin round north derbyshire
On the test ride, I had the standard seat in the low position whivh meant I could only get the balls of my feet on the ground on one side at a time.
I was on it for over 2 hours and it felt great.
When I ordered it, I ordered the low seat... what a mistake that was
I was on it for only 1 + half hours but couldn't get on with it
Took it back to Rainbow and they swapped it straight away for the standard seat.... no quibbles (like to thank them for that )

Moral of the story...
If you're gonna test something, make sure to test everything!

well done with new bike
but get that lower seat sorted some how
any one buying a GS/GSA needs to be able somehow to put both feet flat on the floor
i am 6ft and on my gsa i have done almost 18K in 13 months
many many times in different places i have put my foot down and there is nothing there

ie steep cambers and pot holes and for a micro second your arse goes and you think fcukkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

if it goes you wont be able to hold it

Touratech Kahedo - silverline or LDC (same thing different design) are the best seats for me on two bikes already (06 RT and 08 GSA).
They have a low and ultra low options which should be ok both in terms of handling possibilities and rider comfort.
(PS . The breathable option is too hard, in my opinion).

That was a fast delivery only last week you had test ride, when i placed the order for mine back in 2005 i had to wait over 3 long months for mine. anyway enjoy mate

I'm 5' 9" with an inside leg of 29"... shortarse I know!
The low seat was not enjoyable because of the shape of it. Its 'hollowed out' and I kept sliding into an uncomfortable posture which meany I ended up holding my body in a different position, hence being uncomfortable and not being able to relax.
Went out last night with my son on it for an hour and a half and everything was perfect but I wouldn't have enjoyed it with the low seat.
The reason I bought it in the first place was to be comfortable on a bike!

I wanted a silver one with heated grips, computer and ABS. They had one in stock in the shop but it was in blue. They offered to swap the panels for me with a different spec silver one... good eh?
