Two years after selling my one and only twin cam I put a deposit on another and pick it up on Wednesday. 10,000 miles on a 10 plate full service history, premium and dynamic packages and full aluminium panniers, full tank of fuel, 12 months MOT, recent service and 12 months road tax for £8995. I'll let you know when I pick it up and i'll be seeing you all on here very soon

Great bike is the twin cam, i have one with 7k on the clock its absolutely immaculate, its my backup bike.

Enjoy it and what ever you do, don't trade it for a WC you'll regret it.

Personal thought
I think in the coming years the twin cam will hold its value much better than the LC
Best bike I have owned is my gsa 13 plate

You don't have to wait for the coming yrs, triple black / rallye models are already holding great value.

Good luck with the new bike. Enjoy.

That sounds like a great price, keep the bike for ever!

Good choice, and given the amount of posts on here re the problems with the WC which seems to grow every week you've definitely made the right choice. Who wants to pay 16.5k for a piece of junk  that will be worthless in a year or two :D :blast :blagblah

+1 on that

Great bikes with twincam engines, but don't believe all the doom merchants re WC,s
I have done just over 11000 miles on my WC in 9 months with out any issue.I will happily buy another but maybe the RT or RS.
Yes there have been some dogs but out of the numbers sold,is it any more than pre WC issues?

That's the sort of price I paid 14 months ago for my 2010 GSA but as I bought from a franchised dealer I got 12 months BMW warranty ( which I've just renewed ) - but mine had 24k on the clock so I assume was used for commuting - not that I think that's always a bad thing. Now up to 32k and the only problem has been a puncture in April green-laning in Hampshire, and the strange thing was the 8 x 1inch pozirive screw that caused it was identical to the dozen or so I dropped on the garage floor a month previously! How amazing is that! I'm very happy with the bike and I really can't see any reason for changing it. Best add-ons have been the BMW small SoftBag 2 tail bag which will take a flip-front helmet, and front and back mudslings. Oh, and a louder horn. AlanB

Have an 11 plate gsa and a 64 plate gsa wc, the older tc is a better built and better finished bike and nicer to ride

My 2010 with all the extras is a keeper. I have had it for 19 months and use it most days. I bought it privately with 1,500 miles on it for £6,250 I virtually nicked it :beerjug: and it is absolutely mint still. just coming up to 10,000 miles now.

Only issues so far are two new headlight bulbs and a rear puncture so I cannot really blame BMW for those issues.

Enjoy your new bike.

Neil

Love mine! Plenty fast, big range, comfy ride. Had a problem at 48k kms, not sure exactly what but fitted new pistons and 2nd hand heads and perfect since. Fitters booster plug to get slightly richer and cooler running. Seems smoother and pulls great from low revs. Lazy me! Recently fitted x-screen maxi adjustable deflector, which makes for less wind noise from helmet. Recently had 216kph on gps, slight falling ground. Keeper.

Cheers folks, you've helped me make up my mind

Thinking about a new bike next year, but was looking for an excuse to hold on to my 30th Anniversary GSA as well - now you've given me one :D
