So, to all who have enjoyed this thread I am already plannng something more or less the same for 2027.
Portsmouth to Santander again and then riding all the way back through France. Still undecided on whether to go east side of France or West.
Dates are not 100% but these are the options:
13th September to 25th September

Yes, will do...especially on the route from Potes towards Andorra on the N260.

My mechanic has just got a 900 Ryker which was about €15k - looks like the one in the photo in mat black. I’ve never ridden one but watched them struggle on the faster twisties in the Alps back in June. I think it’s because you’re not leaning round the corner so all the g force is trying to push you off the seat, if that makes any sense.

I've got two routes along the Pyrenees that fit in with your itinerary while keeping the best bits of the N-260. But you'll have to ask Captain Arsehole about getting from Potes to Pamplona as I've no idea! I'll see if I can do them on your route thingy over the weekend
