Pillion comfort

Hi Dave, hope you’re keeping well.
Thanks for the offer, I did once have an air hawk and I couldn’t get on with it at all but I do know many find them very good. We’ll see how Paula gets on with the standard seat which I believe maybe a little firmer.

My wife uses one and the trick is to put very little air in it , but you probably know that already

Been a while since i posted about the pillion comfort.
Weve now tried the standard pillion seat which i got from a forum member and my wife finds it a lot better than the Comfort heated seat that came with my bike. Thats a result!

I bought a Wunderlich comfort seat for the girlfriend plus a sheepskin cover. No complaints.

In my case, the biggest improvement was gained when I exchanged the OEM alucase (GSA) with a Givi Trecker Outback 58L case. The Givi is moved rearwards by 5cm compared to the OEM case. This extra space allowed for a slightly different seating position. To her this made a huge improvement in comfort.
The downside with the larger case further aft is that it makes the bike cg move slightly aft. Luckily, my body composure compensates, so for all practical purpose this is not a problem.

I bought some footrest extenders which helped her by "opening out" the knee angle - no complaints now (at least not regarding bike confort!)

One of the best simple mods possible for passengers. Never heard a bad thing about this.
