I'm thinking of getting a rear seat plate for my 2017 GSA.

I've noticed a few options ie. Wunderlich, AltRider, Cymarc.

Would appreciate any useful thoughts or suggestions from any who have fitted one.

I bought the stainless steel Cymark one.

It actually rusted in the lazer etched pattern (which isn't needed). So I had it Powdercoated black, and the put some cheap carbon-vinyl sticker sheet over it.

Very happy now as I can secure the ECU Electronics from being tampered with, and fit my Kriega Soft Luggage on top of it.

Great stuff :D

Yeah, you don’t want some youf in a hoodie remapping your ECU in a dark car park do you ? :aidan

Thats how my mate had his GS nicked... the fookers pulled out his rear seat, smashed up his ECU and pushed it away.

Plain clothed detective spotted them, just by chance, and followed them to the canal where they ran off after he confronted them.

He got the bike back, but it was a mess.... hence my comment.

Here's some pictures after I had it powdercoated, along with all the pillion rails, crash bars, skid plate, exhaust etc etc

Thanks for the pictures Warlord.

I like the look of that. I've noticed Cymarc now offer the plate already powder coated.
