Did 2 days with the trouble on the back , covered just under 700 miles . Her opinion , no different to the 1250 but more comfortable , just so a good positive , way better than the V4s , but ..........the smoothness of the bike made the miles so much more fun for her.
She has done so so many miles pillion over the years I appreciate her opinion . Me I had a blast as usual but so so happy its a win win from the Gaffa .... Only wheelied a few times but it makes you do it .

Out of interest Stick - was that with a top-box fitted or just good pillion skills?

Same here, my pillion in a million has been riding on the back of me for over 30 years now

One great improvement I’ve found on the 1300 over my 1200 is the new suspension and how it handles a pillion

Before you could add preload which was good but the back end could get a bit bouncy with pillion and luggage

Now with the variable spring rate you can really feel the difference, the rear is matched to the front whatever weight you have on the bike so it feels correctly balanced front to rear, it works really well :nod

Comfort wise she finds the new bike at least as comfortable as the old one if not slightly better for the grab rails, I know some find the opposite but we’re all different so for us it’s all peachy (y)
