Sorry to start a new thread yet again on tyres but cannot find this query. Has anyone tried the new Pirelli Scorpion Trail as fitted to (and desighed for) the new Ducati Mutistrada on their GS, read on a tech thread elewhere that its a development of the Tourance EXP (as Pirelli own Metzeller, same factory in Germany I think) and rated highly by Ducati dealers. Running Battlewing 501/502's at the moment and looking to change to EXP's or Trail Attacks?

Can't comment on those but was really happy with EXP's on my GSA (changed to Tourance and nowhere near as happy), so if they're an improvement on those I'd imagine they'd be pretty good.

I ended up with a rear Pirelli Scorpion Trail on my 12GS after picking up a nail in Italy and swapped the front when I got home to have a matching pair they cost a bomb - both in Italy & at home. I also had to wait an age for a front as the dealer said as no one used them there weren't any in the UK!!! I have not long changed to Conit trail attacks. There seems little difference in performance between the Contis and the Pirellis but they were a damn site cheaper and available!

Any idea what mileage conti's will give you?
