Plastic cover on Engine casing

Hi
Can anyone tell me how to remove that plastic cover on the engine casing on an oil cooled bike as I want to remove the rocker covers for painting ?
There seems to be a cable running underneath it and I dont want to force the cover off if there is another way to do it on my 2010 1200 gsa.

if you are talking about the coil cover it just pulls off,it can appear tight but careful levering with a rag under a flat blade will shift it

It does. There is a special tool for this, or just use two flat screwdrivers and be careful.

Thanks Damien I used the flat bladed screwdrivers, all sorted now and I have replaced my rocker covers which were silver with black ones.
