Play in the throttle grip

It just seems a little "loose". More than Ive been used to anyway. And its making for a snatchy ride! (sounds like fun actually!)

Before I whip off the throttle grip to take a look - anybody any thoughts?

do you mean you can turn it with out the throttle responding?
it so adjust the cable for free play at the bar end

1100 or 1150 ?? - they're different.

Its an 03 1150 twin spark.
The throttle turns about 10 degrees before revs increase. Also the grip itself moves off centre - almost as if the bushes inside have worn loose. Stange buts its only done 20k miles. The three other GS's I had were never like this.

Job done - throttle slack now taken up.
Looking forward to a snatch free ride !! (or was it free snatch ride?)
