Read the paper story, I am. That's my part of the charity contribution.
Target should be £3400, I've raised that to £5000, the £1600 cost is covered by me so MacMillan still get £3400 donation.
All you see on my fundraising page is the donation to charity. Currenty about £1000.
BUT...
Just secured about £1500 from a large rally club I am involved with from car parking passes at our annual bike rally in July for those not arriving on bikes!
Our bike club has got a do on in Feb for Valentines with a soapbox derby where we hope to raise a couple of hundred or so with raffle, blackout, etc.
I also will get the car parking fees from our own bike club's main annual rally this Sept (which was about £450 last year).
I am working all weekend at all these events, usually about 18hrs a day from Thursday to Monday, so all in all I am doing my bit and getting there. Hopefully by the end of the rally season I should have the total amount.
