Had to go up to Skye on Thursday morning so decided to head off Wednesday afternoon, forecast was good so make the most of it. Went to Plockton, got a room in the Inn and a few cold ones to wash down a fish supper out the wee shack by the pier 
Nice wee spot. Then Skye yesterday morning, back home in the afternoon. Nice wee bimble on good roads, 320 miles door to door and good to get a night out
So the plan for this summer is to do similar at least once a month, head off somewhere for a night and a couple of cold ones, get out and about a bit and exercise the Bonnie. I'll post where at short notice in case anyone happens to be in the area. Normally its either out for the day or away for a long weekend or more but just a night away gives fair scope around here, I haven't done it enough recently
