Look in the hand book and take the same or take one one out and look or ask your local BMW daeler who will be pleased to rip you off(oops) sell you the correct plugs.

Just change them before you go and don't bother with spares.....they rarely break down (the plugs I mean, not the 1200 ) and you can get them pretty much anywhere anyway
I'd have thought there were other, more critical items to take as spares...hall sensor, F.D bearing etc.....and I've not seen plugs on any list of spares that Neil would take IIRC
If the bikes been serviced as it should then I would leave the plugs as they are, there is alot to be said for tried and tested components, the only plug problems i've had on the GS were when new plugs were fitted and the new items had faults.

You could take some, but unless a major service was due i wouldn't change them just for the sake of it
