Heads up for the first UKGSer event of the new decade!

This will be a gentle trail ride suitable for both pogos and well-ridden and suitably tyred GS bikes. Given the likely cold weather, there will be no fords on the route.

The start and finish will be at SBW Motorrad in Hertford. Map

Rideout at 09.30hrs.

Here's the videos of last year's event:

Who's in?

Greg

Is this likely to be a circular route? My trail bike is only a 200cc so I don't really fancy the trek up to Hertford on a cold January morning on it, but would quite like to join the ride....

Not quite sure what you mean - the start and finish will be at SBW in Hertford, so, yes, it'll be a circular route.

OK, so I can't read :augie

Thanks :thumb

(reason I wanted to know, is that I'll bring the bike in a van/on a trailer)

New year resolution

Great way to start 2010 - join you at SBW - roughly how long is the ride overall, just so I can get the right amount of permission?

(be on an 800 gs)

:thumb2

I shall be there, its my birthday !!

I will do the usual and follow on behind greg picking up BMW's :augie

Thanks Greg, sounds good.

So the aim is not to be a 'picked up BMW'??

i'll be there on 1200gs barring 3meters of snow or icy roads........... nigel

Sounds good, after doing a few of thr trails up there with Wreford I'm up for some more.

So that's me on a KTM400 and Mrs Berin on a Beta Alp 200:thumb2

Popped in to SBW Hertford yesterday and they will be open for coffees before the off.

Paul (SBW sales) might join us on SBW's G450X demonstrator.

2 more guests?

Hi Greg, OK if I bring two lurkers? One on a TTR600 and the other a 350 KTM, both done a fair few miles offroad.

No problem!

This is a 'fun' day open to anyone who wants to get some fresh air and work off a bit of Xmas excess!

The lanes shouldn't be too taxing - but that really depends on what the weather has been like in the week or so before.

Greg,

Can you put me down on the list please :thumb. My newly aquired FE450 should be run in by then.
