Saw this programme last night and they filmed some guys doing up to about 140 on a single carriageway road and splitting lanes whilst overtaking, I thought these poor sods were gonna be doing time and they got offered either a careless driving or the choice to go on some course.

Fair play to the cops on that one, these guys must of shat themselves when they realised what they had just been stopped for, but it takes the piss when others have gone to jail for similar speeds on deserted roads.

If I knew I could get away with 140 I would have kept the bloody ZZR.

So one minute we have 140mph with no damage to licence, but on another day / road / police area 31mph can get you points and 140 may well see your arse in jail.

Good work Mr Copper on telly last night, any chance of some bloody standards for the rest of the UK (hopefully following this example of education instead of persecution)
