Fantastic boots. Decades of use in those yet.
My earlier incarnation of the Police riding boot, designed by Altberg with input/consultation by the Cumbrian police riders, mine must be 20 years old, probably older and I have put way over 150,000 miles on them. I wore them yesterday and they are still totally waterproof, even when I hosed them off, still wearing them, when I got back home and washed the bike, then my boots. These are the latest design, with side zips and double storm flap, with Goretex full liner.

Altberg Clubman Roadster boots, they last almost indefinitely. A mate who used to commute 80 miles daily into London reckoned a pair would last him 5 years.
The only problem I've found is the lining that sits inside the zip can fray and come unstitched, which is annoying especially as Altberg said they could not fix it. Does not affect the integrity of the boots though.
