With great relief to all going on this run
His Royal Highness King Oonyack of Skye is unable to attend your small swaree
The Eve before he is attending a banquet and ceilidh at the Waternish hall
and will be far too blootered to give his motorcycle the wellie:beer:

My humble subject Arcboutant said he would put his hand in his pocket and purchase the said meals;)

At last I have time off work and a pass out, theres even petrol in the bike. Will probably meet up at perth but if i'm up in time i'll go for kinross services. Am i right in saying Broxden is the service station at the north end of the motor mile?

Columbus

yo mate. just to be picky,
the end of the motor mile is the start of the A9 Perth to Inverness.
Broxden Services is at the end of the Stirling to Perth road.
South of the above motor mile roundabout (or circle if Dundonian  ).
Clear as mud?

Ronno??

good question.
I will be at the filling station, first entrance on left before going up the hill.
Has a wee tabled coffee area with bacon rolls where you can generally watch the bikes parked along the front cowboy style (yippee).
Will pm Ronno to suggest this, ok?

Now I know which services,:nenau , is the meet at the filling station or in the main service station part?

As far as I can recall, the Broxden petrol station only has one building which serves as a petrol station and shop/cafe??? Head into from Glasgow/Stirling M9/A9 and go straight over the roundabout where this road joins the M90. Then turn right after about 200 metres or so as you're heading into Perth and Broxden filling station is up the wee brae. I'm sure it's signposted (at least for fuel).

If it's the Kinross Service Station you mean, Graeme then the main car park is the meeting place. Can you let us know where you're intending meeting us? See you on Saturday.

I'm a possible as well, so it might be quite a turn-out on Saturday!

I'll be leaving stirling services at 9am if you want to meet up. Its a bit early but should give time for a comfort stop at perth before the rest arrive.

Jim,
I'm planning on heading over leaving from Banchory which is enroute for you (if your'e still in Peterculter). I can meet you in the main carpark at 0930 (or do you think thats cutting it a bit fine:confused:

Andy I am still in Cooter so Banchory car park sounds fine. What about trying for 09:00 as its about 90 odd miles to Blair Atholl and 1 1/2 Hrs might be a bit tightish.
I will PM my mobile number

Great Jim, 9am is fine, I didn't realise it was 90 miles and it's not the weather for trapping on. I'll see you down in the village decked out in about 5 layers of thermals;)

Not sure if PhilM can get his bike going but feel free to join us if you are.

have fun
Andy
