This is my firts post since introducing myself on the newbies thread.
I have put a deposit down on a '04 dark blue 1200GS which I will be picking up on Saturday.
Unfortunately the battery was flat , but test rode an '07 demo. what a blast and too easy to go illegal speeds, very agile and has great road presence.
The turn signals will take a bit of getting used to, but I like them.
Much more effortless to ride than my current ZZR-600, and does not seem as quick until you look at the clocks
does anyone have advice on the screen, I am 5'10, when I sta upright there was a huge amount of wind noise at speed, if i just hunched down a couple of inches it was like I was riding in a vacuum with no wind noise at all. I tried the lower seat as well, but gave the same results.
Looking forward to many happy years.
