On the road, for now:-)
Any advice would be most appreciated.....

my 1100 has been unused for three months or so....the battery went flat and would not re-charge. I have now fitted a new battery and been out on her today but she is really struggling at slow speed. It's almost like she is running on one cylinder or something.....coughing and spluttering, she is horrible to ride at slow speed but seems ok at higher speeds when making progress.
She is kicking at a little black smoke if you rev her a little but has been backfiring alot today when I took her for a spin. I thought a run might clear the issue, when I returned home she was ticking over as she used to but having just re-started the bike she is all lumpy again.

I'm hoping the fuel has gone and buggered something up somewhere, maybe a service would deal with it.....

any suggestions would be most welcome:nenau:(

Sorted

Thanks for the advice......I popped out and had a quick look at the cables that i could find on the right hand side......the throttle cable had popped out of it's recess.....I put it back in and hey presto all is well........how strange a little thing like that can make you filled the bugger up with diesel or something....I will check out that link tho.....for future knowledge......thankyou :beerjug::Motomartin
