PoP ups blocked - why???

I am pulling my hair out again as something on my PC is preventing POP ups. I have gone into InternetExporer and left the POP up blocker box "unchecked".

Does anyone know of any other areas that there may be a POP up blocker installed. Just for info I have recently installed the latest BY OPenworld software but can't find anything in this with a blocker.

Its really frustrating as everytime I want to use a link it is blocked and I have to right click and open in a new windoew.

Any hlp appreciated.

I have a pop-up blocker enabled via the Google toolbar.

To open a pop-up box all I need to do is hold down the shift key when I click on the link. After a while it become second nature.

It is also a convenient way to open any link in a new window - saves all that right click nonsense.

My biggest problem is online shopping as my credit details are confirmed by a secondary page which the blocker keeps shutting down and it cancels everything.

It will save me a fortune but I'm desperate for another game of Poker. I'll have a look in the tool bars but I think its a windows thing.

I've just realised my Norton Internet security has expired and it may be this (Norton has been a pain since day one to be honest)

Your a top man. That had reset to blocked during the upgrade so I have reset it to alow pop ups. HAve fun
