Anyone got a 987 Cayman they don't want?
Possible cash purchase or I have a few bikes that can be thrown into the mix?

Worth taking a look here :-
Frequently Caymans appear in the sales section.
I'm a member , I may be going back to boxster/ Cayman when I sell my Audi TT DSG V6 mk1
Good luck with the search

I had one for a while, incredible motor, sold it on here.

I still have lots of publicity stuff about the range that I’ll be posting for sale soon.

Good luck with your search.

I’ve got one, not for sale unfortunately as I love it and daily it! Have a look at your local Porsche Club as you’ll get a clean one through that. There’s a couple of 987 groups on Fb as well although quality of what you get will vary and a pre purchase inspection would be very wise.

What’s your budget? Manual or PDK? 987.1 or 987.2 (post 2009 facelift and IMS fix)?

Budget depends on the day I guess, and if I can add a bike or two into the mix, ideally a 987.2 2.9 engine, don't really mine manual or pdk.
What's your one and any issues?

I got a 2.9 PDK nearly 2 months ago. Absolutely love it. I got a pre purchase inspection done and would recommend the same to anyone buying. I decided to stick with the gen 2 due to engine design improvements, and the base since bore scoring is almost unheard of. I’d recommend Pistonheads classifieds and patience to wait for the right car. At the age 987’s are at now, if you can find one that’s had brakes, suspension, crossover pipes and coffin arms done that will be a sound buy with those same items unlikely to resurface while you have the car. Belt, plugs, coil packs and gearbox service also desirable if done recently in the cars history. Good luck with your search!
Here’s mine with sport chrono and 19” turbo II’s.

I’ve got a 987.2 2.9 2009 PDK. It’s fantastic and I daily it no problem.

Manual will be £10-15k for a nice one PDK £15-18

As someone else said brakes, crossover pipes aircon condensers and if PDK then 12 year service will be you big jobs. If you get a clean one then great. If things need doing (I’ve done condensers and brakes, crossover pipes are a future problem) I probably spend £1000 a year on maintenance, maybe more with farkles and get 27mpg avg (best 36 worst 19).

Depending on where you are get and inspection (I used a guy called Nick Giles, can recommend) and if you get one that’s been lived it’s a fantastic car. Closest to a bike I’ve ever driven and its limits are far higher than mine!

I got Nick to inspect mine. Gave me a lot of confidence that the important stuff was in good order.

Absolutely nowt to do with me but I happened to notice this for sale near me.
If it's what you are looking for and you wanted it inspected there are two very good Porsche Independents 30 minutes away namely AMG Porsche Ballyclare and McMillan Specialist Cars Antrim.

I've seen that, it's been through an insurance claim, shame

Did you check the stock at McMillans? He is very highly regarded over here and I see he has at least one Cayman for sale. 15.minutes from Belfast International Airport

Great choice. I’ve got the same but PDK. Absolutely fantastic car and a blast to drive

Good time to buy, as Porsche are discontinuing Boxsters and Caymans to avoid fines. I bet it will hold money well.
