Just caught up with this thread, glad the fridge worked as well as expected and you didn’t spend money on one of the other “electric cool box” coolers that is rubbish at cooling.

Doubtless it will come in very handy for you in future, even if it’s just cold beers and meat at a barbecue.

No problems, there’s not a lot to say about it other than it works exactly as you would hope a portable fridge would work. I enjoyed three and a half days of perfectly chilled beverages and food, so thank you for the excellent advice.

I was looking at getting one of these, and dug up this thread to find the Halfords recommendations. They're back on sale again for the 32L & 40L if anyone is after one.

Stock seems to be fairly limited in store currently - but they can be ordered in.

I’ve had mine a year now and used it twice at the ABR Festivals, I also used it for a weeks adventure doing the NC 500 last year plus the occasional one or two night stay away in the van this year.
It genuinely is well worth the money.

I have used my Halfords unit (as recommended in this thread) several times, always perfectly. It came in particularly useful, when I leant it to a friend, who lost his fridge during a rebuild of his kitchen.

Can also highly recommend Dometic - used them when we camped in South Africa. Brilliant units.

Might pick up one of these Halford units for ABR next year.

The Halfords fridge may well be a Dometic product, relabled or redesigned into a different case.
