Portsmouth - Le Havre for £44.50 !!!!!!

Found this bargain for an overnight ferry to Le Havre!, rather than a 3 hr trip to the channel, accommodation etc etc....

2 adults + motorbike, single trip (we're coming back via bilboa)

£44.50!!! so I upgraded to the Club Class for an extra £15!!!!

I'm going in the car via LDLines next month. Costing me £60 more than Speedferries but as you say, less miles to travel in the UK. Especially as I have to collect my son from Portsmouth, so that is 280 less on a round trip.

Make sure you have something to eat before boarding the ferry and take drinks with you. Get breakfast in France. Apparently the prices on the ship are very expensive.

There's a chain pub just off the roundabout at the port entrance, next to the Travelodge or call into Port Solent which is just off M27J12 where you'll find a choice of food outlets. There's a 24h Tesco next to Port Solent where you can fill up with petrol to allow for a quick getaway in the morning.
