Local boy and girl ask to join the party. We only live 40 minutes away but we'd love to join you all. Has anyone mentioned Portsoy ice cream?
We frequently take a ride up there on one of the bikes.
Beautiful location...the latest series of Peaky Blinders is being filmed there now...and Whisky Galore was also filmed there a few year ago.
All welcome, be good to meet a new face
Will you be staying over or dropping in for the day? A few folk may appreciate a good local route to ride on Saturday if you have any suggestions?
Here's a wee route folk might follow ...

A fairly gentle bimble with opportunities for distillery visits, nadgery B roads, coastal views and possible dolphin watching, fish n chips / lunch at the Kimberley in Findhorn, archaeology (Sueno's stone in Forres) ice cream stops (Miele's in Lossie), plane spotting (RAF Lossie), some military history (Dallachy strike wing memorial, the Shetland Bus memorial in Burghead)

I think you could be popularThanks. We have arranged accommodation at Durn House in Portsoy for Friday and Saturday nights, just so that we can have a beer or two.
More than happy to suggest a couple of interesting routes in my back yard...perhaps a shorter and longer day option. I'm the manager on Glenlivet Estate so I may be able to arrange something at the distillery for those who might like a visit.

Being relatively local too, I had another route in mind. Huntly, Rhynie, Alford, Cambus o May, Ballater then through Gairnshiel and over to Donside for the Lecht and Tomintoul. Then back out towards Dufftown, Craigellachie, Keith and cross country back to Portsoy. A longer ride but I haven’t worked out the distance yet.

That would be a good one too!
