Oops. I forgot to make that Google link public. It is now :thumb

Works fine. Some grand roads there. There's the option of cutting off at Muir of Fowlis or Kildrummy and heading up Strathdon if folk want a shorter run. Is there an easy way of converting to a GPX file if folk want to use it on a sat nav and plough their own furrow? I know there used to be an option for this on google maps but it's disappeared now?

I started with Basecamp so I have the .GPX file but the size limit here is too small. PM me your email and I'll send it to you :thumb

Thanks but if you can attach it to another message, others can download it if they want? I'll do the same for the route I suggested.

Magnet and myself booked on site in the T5 possibly with Spyder and V85TT or ebikes depending on mood. Booking’s been a bit slow but that’s furlough for you.

Excellent, I assume you've spoken to Ian if you're booked. He can be hard to get a hold of but, as you say, furlough.

No Problem Pete. I've asked the Janitor to help.

Edit: Lo and Behold.........

Yup. Here's mine too for anyone who wants it. Here's the original post with details of places en route or nearby ...

Here's a wee route folk might follow ...

A fairly gentle bimble with opportunities for distillery visits, nadgery B roads, coastal views and possible dolphin watching, fish n chips / lunch at the Kimberley in Findhorn, archaeology (Sueno's stone in Forres) ice cream stops (Miele's in Lossie), plane spotting (RAF Lossie), some military history (Dallachy strike wing memorial, the Shetland Bus memorial in Burghead)

Ooooh, I'm on holiday over this period. I'll make the trip up for a longer jolly in my van, bike in tow. Camping spot for my van with no hookup required please. Anyone else thinking of going the distance?

Camping space it is:thumb

Some good choices of how to make your way there (and a long way home if you keep heading north)

Alistair,
Any room for another wobbly box? with hook up?

Neil

We've taken the reserved spaces but if you phone Ian I am pretty certain there will be one available, he set 6 aside but I doubt there are many others booked yet
