Travelling behind Kev (Norm) in his Hymer from Roy Bridge to Portsoy, I was impressed with the little trailer :thumb

So posting a photo of Norm's attempts to put a table up had Barney (Neil23) in stitches :D

So here's Barney upon arrival at Portsoy whereby he had not secured the trailer wiring and it dragged on the floor :D:D

I’d just like to say that after being on UKGSers for a few years, this is the first event I’ve been persuaded to do by Uturntony. What a fantastic bunch of people you all are. Some I knew, most I didn’t, but great folk all the same, made me feel very welcome. Fantastic BBQ to finish off a slightly damp weekend. My fault (age) but I’m crap with names and there were too many to remember but faces I do retain and I hope to meet you all further down the road (so to speak). Safe ride home all. Keep it between the ditches.

Good to see you guys .... I'm crap with remembering names too, but faces I seldom forget ;)

Great BBQ despite, or maybe because, of the weather. Thank you Jennifer and Alastair and all those that mucked in :thumby:

EDIT .... PRESS RELEASE

Iain (Khulu) found his phone ... it was in his van on charge :blast

:D:D

Great evening, enjoyed the bbq bit and the beer. Even managed a wee dram late on. Good turn out for a moist evening

Thanks for the BBQ last night, it was good meeting some tossers.

Pity I couldn't join you on a ride out but hopefully I can join next year after Micky fixes my FD.

Sorry about the weather.

And the uKGSer prize for star baker goes to FBBs wife Wendy (in case folk miss the ride out thread)!

Portsoy

I was fortunate to camp beside FBB, as I had never met him previously, it’s quite funny when you start talking to folks at theses events, I discovered that I had bid on some of his for sale items over the years but just didn’t put it all together until we started chatting. Anyway he and Wendy did us proud with their hospitality.
I wish someone had drone footage of him at 6ft2 on his monkey bike leading 10ish tossers on big adventure bikes in the pish- -g rain at 45-50 mph all the way to his house (45 min ).
Anyway thanks to you Bob for an entertaining weekend, some of your previous biking history was a revaluation.
Brian
