hello all, first post so be gentle, i'm looking to possibly buy a gs as a second bike. more for use through the winter when the weather is bad and the roads are a bit salty. i will admit to not being a fan of cleaning bikes very much, my current bike only gets cleaned with handy wipes and paper towels, one spray can of poilsh has lasted me for years. i'm handy with a can of wd40 though. I have looked online at the same gs that acwman went to look at, but hav'nt been to look in person or test ride yet. mr acwman if you read this did you get the impression that they would do a deal, i wont have a trade in, cash sale, will call them later in the week. to busy at work to go look at the moment. i'm sure i'm going to find loads of information on here so off to start trawling the forums.

another islander on a gs, reckon we have started a trend as were not that many when we or shall I say nick got his about 18mths ago now now there seems to be a dozen now, well inc on here now I can think of 10 of us!
A roofer eh Chewey, now nick is thinkin as he may know you if you say who it is you work for ?? Where bouts on our little isle do you live ??
When the weather is ok we sometimes pop down to shanklin on a Sunday morning between 9 and 10,if we are not going to the Ace or somewhere else away, we are normally the only gsers there, I was the only one the other wk as nick just could not be arsed, says its boring just riding about over here which is true I have to say but I love to get my bike out when ever I can, anyway we should all meet up one Sunday there if you like, just say the word
