Anyone removed their windscreen mounting bracket and had it powder coated? My one is showing signs of flaking and will need something done shortly. Mainly down where the windscreen adjuster locks are. Is it a warranty issue? bike has a years warranty from dealer and its a 2010 model

Its probably a warranty issue but a good quality powder coating will be a better finish. Well worth the cost IMHO. If you want a colour match, powder coat it then flat the finish with a scouring pad and paint over.

I would probably go for Satin Black if i did it, but im going to go down the warranty route first and see what happens.

I've just had my windscreen mounting bracket & engine bars powder coated (2006 GS).

It cost £60 plus labour to strip & re-fit & the finish is fantastic -recommended.
