Power/Audio cable 2610

Morning Folks,
Going to attempt to finally get my gps up and running on the bike,now i've practiced with it in the car.
But yet again i have a Question.
On the power/audio lead there are 4 wires.Black,Red,Brown,White.
I am thinking that the Black and Red go direct to the negative and positive
feed i may be wrong?but what if anything do i do with the brown and white wires.

I have a spare 2610 lead which just needs a Canbus lead soldering on or a fused lead if you are going to the battery. Live in Leven just up the road and home next week if it is of any use and you want to pick it up.

I take it that the lead is second hand and has been cut off a bike? Is there a fuse-holder? I cant quite recall the colours but ISTR that the power ones are black and red. The other two are for the audio, although this is taken off just 'south' of the top of the cable at the jack plug. Despite this the same cable with all four wires is used for the full length, the two audio ones are dead south of the jack and, in a new lead, shouldn't actually show out of the end (might even terminate at the fuse holder?).

Best to test with a multimeter but, as said above, I'm pretty sure that power is black and red.
