power commanders

Picked up my GSA today after having a power commander fitted & being setup on the dyno.

1st Impressions.

Impressive :thumb

Does what it say's on the box, improves rideability & improves throttle response.

Apparently as standard my bike was running lean at the low end throttle with a big flat spot between 3 & 4 thousand rpm, which explains why it was lumpy on tickover & surged at 3 to 4 thou.

It was alway's been awkward to ride around town, now it's a pleasure but the grin factor is when you get on the open road :D it pulls like a train all the way to the red.

Dyno figure's are, 83.30 bhp at 6,600 rpm with 71.66 ft-lbs torque between 5,400 to 5,800 rpm.

With Remus carbon can with baffle in, Remus Y piece & K&N filter.

Cost was £500 inc vat, some might say expensive but I think it was money well spent.

Now all we need is some warmer day's & stickier roads.

The bike never once missed a beat nor did I ever feel that it needed more power or required smoothing out.

If it aint broke, then dont fix it.................good motto ;)

Now Alan are you absolutley sure you never wanted just one or two bhp more?????
