power outlet socket

anyone know how many amps can be drawn through aux.socket beside seat on gs 1200. as i would like to run heated jacket through it?

I believe it is 5amps. Please let us know how you get on - I used to be able to run a Gerbing heated jacket ok - however, I started to have trouble with the socket being switched off when the jacket thermostat was more than 1/4 turn. I'm convinced it was due to a software update (there is a thread somewhere about other with similar problems).

Well, yeah, there is that problem
I've resoldered the wires on twice now - one day I'll manage to replace it.
