power point sockets

can anybody help? I,ve fitted a touratech power socket to the ignition barrel wires as the instructions are in german i had to wing it and now the socket only has power when the ignition is off does anybody know the correct wires to tap into email me at [email protected] if you can help ta....

What Bike?

If it's an 1150 run it back to the orig. accessory socket on the starter motor cover.

If it's a 1200 then you can do the same (wherever it is on them...) but it'll only be live when the main one is.

I just fitted a BM power socket to the beak, same as GSA. £35 ish from BM as a kit with instructions. Took 15 mins to fit. You just connect it to the one under the starter cover. If you're after another power socket, buy the BM one.
