power socket by seat

anyone know how many amps can be drawn through aux.socket beside seat on gs 1200. as i would like to run heated jacket through it?

Don't know the technical answer, but I've been using a heated waistcoat with my last 2 GS's for over 3 years with no probs. I believe the circuit has a 5amp fuse on it.

max is supposed to be 10 amps before it will shut down...
